RYAN F. THOMAS
SHAREHOLDER
A native of Monterey County, California, Ryan joined Anderson Zeigler as a Shareholder in 2023, after serving as the Managing Shareholder of his own firm for over a decade. Ryan joined Anderson Zeigler with a broad base of experience that emphasizes business and real property transactions and disputes on behalf of clients throughout California and nationwide. Ryan has successfully resolved matters through mediation, arbitration and trial. He also acts as outside counsel to individuals and businesses, leveraging his decades of litigation experience to assist clients with resolution of legal issues without the need for litigation.
Ryan received his undergraduate degree in economics from Sonoma State University, and law degree from Golden Gate University. During law school, Ryan was the Managing Editor of the Law Review, and a Moot Court finalist.
Outside of the office, Ryan is active in several philanthropic and recreational activities. He has served in both membership and leadership roles with the Active 20/30 Club of Santa Rosa, the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa and its Foundation, the Santa Rosa Corps of the Salvation Army, and the Santa Rosa Rose Parade. He is a graduate of Leadership Santa Rosa program through the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, Class 30. Ryan has volunteered coaching youth lacrosse through the Santa Rosa Steelheads program and CYO basketball for years. Recreationally, Ryan is an avid golfer and plays competitive tennis. Ryan is a married father of two: a college-aged daughter (Roll Tide!) and a student at Cardinal Newman High School.
