Courtney N. McGee

Courtney returned to her native region of Sonoma County in 2014, after spending seven years in Boston earning her undergraduate and law degrees. While on the East Coast, Courtney gained much experience and interest in alcoholic beverage law. She engaged in all stages of business for many alcoholic beverage industry members, including assisting with proper licensing, permitting and business filings, advising on intellectual property matters and regulations pertinent to alcoholic beverage product labels, and preparing for hearings before state and local licensing authorities. Now, Courtney continues to work closely with the alcoholic beverage industry here in Wine Country and has expanded her practice to include business law, intellectual property law, and litigation, more generally.

Courtney graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Concentration in Marketing. In 2014, she earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, meeting the requirements to graduate with an Intellectual Property Concentration with Distinction. This unique combination of business and legal education lends Courtney a distinct perspective; she strives to assist clients with their legal inquiries while maintaining an eye on their primary business goals as well.
